The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly going ahead.
